We are pleased to report two successful grant applications have been awarded to Hunts Grove Parish Council this week, one from the National Lottery Community Fund and the other from The Gloucestershire Police & Crime Commissioner’s Fund.
Councillors are incredibly grateful for both awards as they will ensure we can proceed with some exciting projects for residents of Hunts Grove this year.
National Lottery Community Fund
The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded Hunts Grove a grant for £5,000 towards our community events planned for this year. You may have already seen our Easter Community Fun Day advertised, as well as our event to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King.
Gloucestershire Police & Crime Commissioners Fund
The Commissioners Fund has awarded Hunts Grove a grant of £4,190 towards the provision of youth services. This provision is integrated with Gloucestershire County Councils Holiday Activities & Food Programme.
This is fantastic news for Hunts Grove and another example of the power of the new parish council to attract funding to benefit our village and residents. Special thanks to our clerk Julie Shirley and Cllr Sandra Meecham for their work to secure this funding.
