Entering our prize draw is easy, just make sure you are signed up for our mailing list. There are prizes for existing subscribers, plus all new subscribers that sign up in August and September 2023.

You have a fantastic chance of winning as this draw is only open to residents of Hunts Grove, Gloucestershire. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within Hunts Grove. Winners will be contacted by email. Terms and conditions apply, see below.
Purpose of this free prize draw
To celebrate the launch of our Hunts Grove village mailing list and raise awareness of this new service from the parish council. Our subscriber list is drawn from events and surveys we have held over the last couple of years.
For GDPR purposes we must check whether respondents wish to remain on the list now we are formally launching our mailing list. All existing subscribers would have received a welcome email at the end of July 2023 for this purpose. All our mailings include an easy unsubscribe link.
Communication and engagement with our residents is extremely important to the parish council. We recognise that many residents may not be routinely checking our website or social media, and may miss key village events and updates. Therefore, our mailing list will be a routine update of village news, views, and events. It will also enable us to message residents in the event of any critical or immediate incident, such as road closure, meetings etc.
We will not bombard you with messages. We expect a maximum of 1-2 emails per month in the first year.

Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
2. The prize draw is being run by Hunts Grove Parish Council (HGPC).
Eligibility to enter
3. The prize draw is open to entrants over 16 years of age, that have a residential or business address at Hunts Grove, other than officers and councillors of HGPC, others professionally associated with HGPC and their immediate families.
4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prizes you may win.
5. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
6. The prize draw is free to enter.
How to enter
7. The prize draw will include existing subscribers of the HGPC mailing list as of the end of August 2023 and September 2023, plus new subscribers during August 2023, and new subscribers during September 2023. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw.
8. To enter the prize draw simply ensure you remain subscribed to the mailing list, or sign up in August 2023 or September 2023. Sign-up below or at this link.
9. HGPC will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
The prize
10. There are four separate draws, each with a prize of a £25 amazon gift card.
11. HGPC’s use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
12. The winner will be drawn at random by the parish clerk. The two August draws will take place at the parish council meeting of 11th September, 2023. The two September draws will take place at the parish council meeting of 9th October, 2023.
13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
14. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
15. The decision of HGPC regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner announcement
16. The winners will be notified following each draw via the email provided on signing up to the mailing list.
17. HGPC will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
18. The eligibility criteria (see point 3) for this prize draw requires that the winner have a residential or business address within Hunts Grove. The winner(s) should confirm their address in response to our winner notification email.
19. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and HGPC reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
Receipt of the prize
20. Prizes will be posted or hand-delivered within 14 days of receipt of the winner address.
Data protection and publicity
21. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by HGPC for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
22. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us.
23. The winner agrees to the release of their first name as part of any prize draw announcements.
24. All personal information shall be used in accordance with the HGPC Privacy Notice.
Limitation of Liability
25. HGPC does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that HGPC does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
26. HGPC does not provide any form of practical, IT support or warranty for any prize awarded.
General
27. HGPC reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
28. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
