Play areas
Hunts Grove has a range of play areas with a variety of equipment. The location of these are shown on the map, with more details below.
Large play areas
A. Hillview Park is located below our huge Hunts Grove Rise open space. This is a large play area with range of equipment across four zones:

A fenced area containing swings, balance beams and rockers, designed for children 3 and over

A slide (recommended for under 3s) and a zipline

A large climbing frame and a climbing wall

A basketball hoop
B. Lime Tree Playground is located on Hunts Grove Drive at the end of Lime Tree Avenue. This fenced playground contains:
- A multi-purpose games area with goals and basketball hoops
- A zipline
- Swings, stepping stones and bridge, and a climbing frame with a slide.
Medium play areas
1. Playhut Park sits at the meeting point of Sowthistle Green and Brambling Green and is a fenced play area containing:
- Wooden animals and a play house for the under 3s
- A climbing frame for those a bit bigger
2. Rainbow Pagoda Park is on Sowthistle Green. This play area contains:
- A slide for 3 to 6 years olds
- A small bike track
- Mini climbing walls
- A small rope net
- A bridge
Small play areas
3. Acorn Edge is nestled under the hill at The Acorn and is a small area with stepping stones designed for toddlers
4. Spinney Park is located on Willow Edge/Hawthorn Close and joins up with The Patches open space. Designed for toddlers it has a seesaw, stepping logs and stones, and rockers
5. The Cube is located at the the top of Pine Marten Close on the edge of Hunts Grove Rise. This is a small fenced area for toddlers with stepping logs and blocks
6. The Circle is a small pocket park in Hunts Grove Rise with a swing and toddler-friendly wobble dish.
